Plus 1 is a plans-first social app for dating, friends, and networking. Instead of swiping on profiles, members post a specific plan, such as a brunch, a yacht day, a workout, a gallery night, or a networking event, and other members request to join. The host approves one person and you meet up in real life. Plus 1 is free to download, active in Miami and South Florida, and built around real connections rather than endless chat.
Modern social apps are built for endless scrolling and shallow connection. On the average dating app, it takes hundreds of swipes to get a handful of matches and one actual meeting. People are exhausted. They want to do real things with real people, not type "hey" into the void.
Making friends as an adult in a new city is hard. Networking events feel transactional. Going to dinner or a gallery opening alone can feel awkward. And group chats with friends often boil down to "we should do something" without anyone actually planning it.
Plus 1 starts with the plan. Post a dinner reservation, a yacht day, a Formula 1 ticket, a wine tasting, a gallery opening, a tech meetup. Anyone in your city can request to join. You approve who's a fit, you meet up, you make a memory.

Meetup is group-based and many events are organizer-led. Plus 1 is one-on-one (or small group) and member-driven, with approval control.

Plus 1 was founded in Miami and is currently active across Miami and South Florida, including Brickell, Wynwood, South Beach, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding neighborhoods.
